it seems to me that most relevant study in matter of extra-auditory effects of noise on health is the project Hyena. Results were published in FEb 2008 (http://www.find-health-articles.com...tudy.htm.) and they assess that some relation exists between long term exposure to night noise (such as from aircrafts near airports)and increase in blood pressure and other effects. Do anybody know about more that? New research ongoing or planned?
